Escritório Cultural was founded after we learned how difficult and challenging it was for artists to manage their own copyright, a task which demands time and specific knowledge. When artists have to dedicate the time it takes to resolve copyright problems and other related issues, it takes valuable time away from their actual work: creating.

Music
Escritório Cultural is aware of the importance of its responsibilities in administrating copyrights relating to artistic works, as well as related rights of the work(s) of accompanying musicians, performers and sound producers, both in the physical and digital realm. To support our clients, we offer the following services:
- Rectify the status of heirs with the various Authoritarian Societies.
- Representation of artists and management of their image and artistic work(s).
- Administration of works and phonograms, organization of the artists’s collection, their copyright and related rights.
- Registration of artists and their respective artistic works and phonograms with ECAD (Brazil’s national copyright collection agency) and with foreign associations or organizations.
- Rectify a previous registration with ECAD and in foreign companies.
- Obtain any funds retained by Associations to which the artist belongs.
- ISRC ( International Standard Recording Code) application for audio or video.
- Comply with existing requirements or resolve any pending issues for artistic works and/or phonograms.
- Compile an overview of any monies still owed by publishers and record labels.

Escritório Cultural offers assistance to producers of audiovisual content, as well as actors, directors, writers and all those involved in audiovisual production, by providing consultancy services in the following areas:
- Negotiation of commissions, phonograms and images for synchronization.
- ISRC ( International Standard Recording Code) application for audio or video.

Performing Arts
Escritório Cultural offers consultancy services on the administration and release of literary texts for theatrical production, including the interpretation and image rights for actors. We also elaborate contracts that are signed by the theater production company and the author(s) of the literary text.
